Sara Sharif’s father breaks his silence after he was arrested over daughter’s ‘murder’
THE father of ten-year-old Sara Sharif says he wants to “resolve matters” over her death.
Urfan Sharif, 41, was arrested on suspicion of murder along with partner Beinash Batool, 29, and brother Faisal Malik, 28, after returning to the UK from Pakistan on Wednesday night.
They are currently being detained by Surrey police over Sara’s death at her home in Woking last month.
She had “suffered multiple and extensive injuries” that were “likely to have been caused over a sustained and extended period of time”.
Sharif, Batool and Malik fled to Pakistan a day before her body was found but returned after an international hunt.
Sharif’s lawyer, Attiq Malik, said the trio returned to the country to “resolve matters” with cops investigating the case.

He told Sky News: “As many are aware, a video was released setting out concerns by them of Pakistan police, and their intention to resolve matters.
“We got in touch with the police here, we got in touch with various travel agents, and long story short - they’ve arrived.”
