British volunteer in Ukraine was tortured and killed by fellow Brit fighter, investigators fear
A BRITISH volunteer in Ukraine was tortured and killed by a another Brit, investigators fear.
Jordan Chadwick, 31, was found dead in a body of water with his hands tied behind his back in June.
The former Scots Guard served in a shadowy unit called 50/50 — attached to Ukraine’s GUR military intelligence.
His terrified comrades have named another British fighter as a prime suspect.
They claim Chadwick, from Burnley, was waterboarded and the water in his lungs was not the same as where he was found in Kramatorsk, around 20 miles from the Bakhmut front line.
His body was brought home last month and an inquest is due to be held next year.

The case is being probed by Ukraine’s State Bureau of Investigation, which has jurisdiction over war crimes.
It comes as Ukrainian police found a second Brit’s body, believed to be Daniel Burke, 36.
The former paratrooper, from Manchester, went missing last month.
He is believed to have been shot and buried in a shallow grave outside Zaporizhzhia.

He was last seen by Aussie-Lebanese fighter Nourine Abdulfetah, who cops identified as a prime suspect.
Burke’s dad Kevin, 62, said: “We want to see the accused face his day in court.”
The deaths of the two British volunteers has spread fear among others who flocked to help Ukraine fight Russia.
