Food critic and Masterchef judge Jay Rayner bemoans mickey-taking Twitter users SEVEN MONTHS after car crash talkSPORT interview
Plump resto reviewer still taking issue with top radio hosts asking him about overpriced food
A CRITIC and Masterchef regular is continuing his petty feud with two top radio hosts — because they asked him about overpriced food.
Posh nosher Jay Rayner, who often features as a guest judge on the BBC cooking show, is blocking anyone on Twitter who mentions his car crash interview on from SEVEN MONTHS ago.
In May the Observer food writer appeared on The Two Mikes show to talk about tipping in restaurants.
But he turned his nose up when hosts Mike Parry and Mike Graham asked him about the price of food in top restaurants.
They quizzed him about what he thought of plush London hotel The Ritz allegedly selling frozen chips for £6 a portion — which The Sun exclusively revealed in April.

He moaned: "I'm really sorry guys, but I was told that you wanted to talk to me about tipping".
Later, when veteran presenter Mike Graham said he preferred to be served by hardworking immigrant waiters and waitresses, Rayner spewed: "I thought we were going to have a sensible conversation".
After the cringe-worthy interview he took to Twitter to complain that he felt like he had been "cornered by two bladdered men".
Humourless Rayner then began blocking anyone who made any mention of the radio show on Twitter — a hobby he's said to still be engaging in to this day.
Speaking to the days after the infamous interview, Rayner said: "I've blocked rather a lot of people this week."
And describing his appearance on the show, the flop-haired food writer said: "I found myself in the situation of being a metrosexual fop being shouted at by the equivalent of a couple of blokes drinking Diamond White in a pub.
"I hung up and it didn't go down too well, and their fans gave me Twitter abuse for days."
Presenter Mike Parry told The Sun: "We've had tremendous fun with Jay Rayner, the food critic and broadcaster.
"Basically he took umbrage when we asked a man of his eminence about frozen chips at The Ritz on a live radio show.
"His pomposity got to Mike Graham and myself and we mercilessly took the mickey out of him.
"But so have thousands of our listeners and every one who's questioned him about it, he's blocked.
"The number is going up all the time as people seem not prepared to let him forget about it."
The Sun has approached a representative for Jay Rayner to comment.
