A STREET in south London was on lockdown today after cops were called to reports that a man was wielding a gun inside a house.
The Metropolitan Police were called at 6.20am on Sunday to an address in south London where a man was "seen to be in possession of what looked like a firearm".

After an 11-hour stand off a man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Specialist officers were still talking to a man inside the house in Dumbarton Road, Brixton, Scotland Yard said for hours today.
The Metropolitan Police said that no-one had been injured in the incident.

Two blocks of flats were evacuated and several police cars were at the scene.
The cordons have now been lifted and residents are being allowed home.
