Suddenly the creep approached from behind, appeared to grab her hips and leaned in for a kiss.

The female journalist could be seen fighting back and pushing away the sex pest while continuing to deliver her piece to camera.

The man left a few moments after the harrowing October 2 encounter.

Bianca later took to Instagram to share her shocking experience and to call out her attacker.

She said: “Today I went through this type of situation for the first time.

"I was in a square, shops were open, and a random person walked by and tried to kiss me on the cheek.

"Ah, but it was on the face. Only I know how much it destabilised me to continue with the news. My legs felt wobbly.

"He even stopped behind my equipment and said a few more things that I couldn't hear because I continued my report. It was a horrible feeling.”

Bianca praised her cameraman, Julius Costas, who ran over to make sure she was OK.

She also warned other members of the public against interrupting live broadcasts, saying that it leaves the reporter destabilised and in a state of vulnerability.

The footage has sparked lots of criticism against the sex pest, with those online slamming him for his actions and showing solidarity with Bianca.

In a statement posted on their Instagram page, her employer, InterTV, strongly condemned the incident, promising to file a complaint and adding that the man would face legal consequences for his actions.

The National Federation of Journalists (Fenaj) and the National Commission of Women Journalists also expressed their solidarity with the reporter.

It's the second time in less than two months that a female journalist has been assaulted while reporting on television.

In September, a sex pest groped reporter Isa Balado's bottom as she was reporting on a robbery in Madrid.

The anchor for the channel, Nacho Abad, said during the incident: "Isa, forgive me for interrupting you… but did he just touch your bottom?"

Ms Balado said he had and Mr Abad demanded the “idiot” be put on camera.

After being asked why he felt the need to grope her backside, the fiend flat out denied ever touching her.

And in 2019, a female reporter was reporting on a race in Georgia when a male jogger slapped her bum.
