THE daughter and granddaughter of late Coronation Street star Johnny Briggs assaulted two other women.
Karen Briggs, 54, and her daughter Emma Beach, 35, attacked Sophia Walton and Amanda Gaye in October last year.
They had also been accused of ABH and theft but they denied it and the charges were dropped as the victims did not wish to take the case to trial.
But they admitted common assault at Guildford crown court.
Briggs and Beach, of Staines-upon- Thames, Surrey, were remanded in custody and will be sentenced on a date to be set next year.
The pair have a long list of previous convictions involving drugs, assaults and shoplifting.

Last year, a judge banned the pair from entering the whole of Surrey unless to attend court, probation service appointments, or to go to hospital.
Briggs’ father Johnny played factory owner Mike Baldwin in the ITV soap.
He appeared in 2,349 episodes of the long-running soap before leaving Coronation Street in 2006.
Karen Briggs publicly apologised to her famous father in 2018 after he reportedly disowned her for giving Class A drugs to her daughter at the age of 14 years.

Five of his six children received a share of his fortune which included property in the UK and in Florida.
Johnny split his estate equally between his other children Jennifer Davies, Michael Briggs, Stephanie Briggs, Anthony Briggs and Mark Briggs.
The actor died aged 85 in February 2021.
