THIS is the dramatic moment Israeli fighter jets wipe out a top Hamas terror commander who plotted the October 7 massacre.
In a massive airstrike, the Israel Defence Forces and ISA killed the Deputy Head of Hamas’ Intelligence Directorate, Shadi Barud, who was responsible for planning the devastating slaughter.
Based on precise IDF and ISA intelligence, IDF fighter jets struck Barud in the Gaza Strip today.
The IDF have since released video footage of the airstrike, which shows at least two bombs exploding, decimating at least four buildings.
In his previous role as the Head of the Fire Control Center in Hamas' Operations Unit, Barud planned the barbaric October 7th attacks in southern Israel with Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.
It saw 1,400 Israelis murdered and over 200 taken captive.

Barud had previously served as Hamas' battalion commander in Khan Yunis and was responsible for planning numerous terror attacks against Israeli civilians.
Following this, Barud held several positions in Hamas' military intelligence, and was responsible for information security.
Until today, he was responsible for intelligence relations for Hamas.

The Israeli Defence Force claimed the deputy commander of the Nuseirat Battalion, was wiped out in an airstrike on Tuesday.
Israel said two other Hamas commanders - Khalil Muhajez and Khalil Tatri - were also killed.
These deaths come after one of the leaders of Hamas's security forces was also killed.
Jehad Mheisen was reportedly with his family in the neighbourhood of Sheikh Radwan in Gaza when he was killed by an Israeli airstrike.
His death came just days after other Hamas commanders were killed in Israeli airstrikes.
The Israeli military said it is targeting Hamas hideouts, infrastructure and command centres in retaliation for its horror massacre.
Ayman Nofal, who was in charge of the Central Gaza area in the armed wing Izz el-Deen Al-Qassam Brigades, was killed.
Footage showed the pinpoint attack erupting into a fireball as smoke filled the air.
Pictures showed Palestinians crowding around as Nofal's body was carried through the Bureij camp in central Gaza.

And senior official Dr Osama Mazini, who was understood to have been the Primary Hamas Negotiator for the 2011 prisoner swap, was also wiped out.
He handled the file of Gilad Shalit, an Israeli soldier held captive by Hamas in Gaza for five years.
