When asked what she would say to the person who vandalised the bench, Gemma said: "I'd just question why? I can't get my head around why someone would be so cruel to a 16-year-old girl who died in horrific circumstances."
"They're tampering with the only thing bringing comfort to her mom, it's heartbreaking.
"One of Liberty's friends, Ava, goes to the bench several times a week and does some of the decorations on there, she is really upset about it too."
Gemma has recieved loads of support on social media since posting the damage done to Liberty's tribute bench.

Dudley Council who are responsiple for Chase Road crematorium have acknoledged the incidents and hope the culprit's conscience will stop them from doing this again.
Counciller Patrick Harley, leader of the council, said: "I am appalled at this. The families have suffered enough without this type of senseless and mindless vandalism."
"Furthermore, the family purchased this bench themselves so can do without these awful remarks and actions. The loss of a child is the worst experience a parent can endure."
