North London stabbing leaves man fighting for his life as police search Turnpike Lane area for clues

A MAN is fighting for his life after arriving at a north London hospital suffering from horrific stab wounds - sparking a frantic police search for clues.
Officers are now trawling through the Turnpike Lane area in Haringey to find out exactly where the victim was stabbed.
The man was admitted into hospital about 1am before being transferred to a hospital in east London.
Details about his age have not yet been released.
A Met Police spokesman told : "Enquiries are underway into the location of the stabbing but it is believed to be in the Turnpike Lane area.”

Police have now closed roads around Turnpike Lane as they continue their investigations.
Mark Humphris tweeted about the incident, writing: "Lots of roads closed around wood Green turnpike lane and A10 area Police on seen (sic)".
He said police had taped off the area as they search the scene.
No one has been arrested with enquiries continuing.
