Maxi, 31, from Ramsgate, believes the nasty surprise is a pile of dog poo rather than human excrement.

The shocking incident has left her "disgusted" and "terrified".

Mother-of-two Maxi said: "There really are some sick people out there.

"It’s not even funny - I’m terrified.

"It’s absolutely disgusting and what makes anyone do something like this?

"I assume it’s dog poo and it looks like whoever did this has been saving it up for ages just to put on my doorstep.

"I suffer from anxiety and this has just made things worse for me."

Maxi contacted cops after the disgusting discovery on October 20.

A spokesperson for Kent Police confirmed the force was investigating.

They said: "The criminal damage is reported to be part of harassment by someone known to the victim.

"Officers are in touch with the victim and enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing."

Disputes elsewhere include neighbours clashing over one man's method of cleaning autumn leaves.

A Channel 4 star has complained she can't relax and wear a bikini in her garden due to concerns prompted by people living nearby.

And cops had to intervene after a four-year row erupted into chaos on an estate in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
