Yodel driver caught on camera ‘stealing Amazon parcel from man’s doorstep’

A HOMEOWNER appears to have caught the moment a Yodel delivery driver allegedly stole his Amazon parcel.

Kieren Drane, from Soham, Cambridgeshire, claims that footage from his home's CCTV camera shows the driver posting a slip through his door before making off with the package.

After appearing to remove the package from the doorstep, the driver then gets into his van and leaves.

Mr Drane shared the video on Facebook.

He said: "Check this Yodel driver stealing my Amazon parcel while putting a slip through my door..!

"Luckily it was not valuable. He may have wanted to look up before walking off with it."

Amazon have refunded the shopper after informing them about the incident.

Yodel is now probing the incident.

A Yodel spokeswoman said: "We’re investigating this incident and we’ll take the appropriate action with the individual involved.

"We’ve also contacted the police and will fully support their investigation.

"This is an isolated incident and in no way reflects on our wider workforce, who have worked hard to deliver Christmas for millions of people this year."
