Fears for the Queen as she misses first Christmas Day church service since 1988 due to heavy cold
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also missed Sandringham event as they took George and Charlotte to visit grandparents
BRITS yesterday urged the Queen to “Get well soon, Ma’am” after she missed her first Christmas Day church service due to illness.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also absent from the Sandringham event as they took Prince George and Princess Charlotte to visit Kate’s parents.
The Queen has had a miserable time with a heavy cold which left her unable to leave home.
The 90-year-old had not missed a service at St Mary Magdalene since she began taking her annual retreat at Sandringham, Norfolk, in 1988.
