Girl, 14, charged with attempted murder after schoolgirl seriously injured in stabbing in Welsh village
A 14-YEAR-old girl has been charged with attempted murder after a schoolgirl was seriously injured in a stabbing in a Welsh village.
Cops said the knifing happened in Neath shortly after 7pm on Thursday.
The schoolgirl was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and remains there in a serious condition.
A 14-year-old girl has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article.
She has been remanded into custody and will appear at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates' Court on Monday.
A spokespersonn said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating after a girl was allegedly stabbed in an incident that took place in the Coelbren area of Neath shortly after 7pm on Thursday, November 16."
