Man rushed to hospital after Christmas Wonderland ride ‘went wrong’ at Lakeside Shopping Centre
A MAN has been rushed to hospital after a Christmas Wonderland ride "seemed to go wrong" at Lakeside Shopping Centre.
Emergency services scrambled to the Essex mall late on Saturday after the man was injured.
A witness told that the machine had made "really weird noises" and had "seemed to go wrong".
Security reportedly stopped people from entering the site afterwards, with several ambulances and cops spotted at the scene.
East of England Ambulance Service Trust said: "Two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles, and a response car from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were dispatched to Lakeside Shopping Centre at 9.50pm on Saturday 25th November.
"An adult man was transported by road to The Royal London Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
