Polish lorry driver was shot hours before ISIS terrorist slammed truck into Berlin Christmas market, post mortem finds
But how many terrorists were involved in hijacking vehicle remains mystery
POLISH trucker Lukasz Urban was shot in the head hours before his jihadi killer drove his lorry into a Berlin Christmas market, tests reveal.
The post-mortem examination found Mr Urban bled a huge amount of blood in his cab after being blasted at point blank range.
It also found he was shot between 4.30pm and 5.30pm local time - when the attack on the busy Berlin market happened at 8.02pm.
The findings cast doubts on claims Mr Urban seized the lorry's steering wheel from suspect Anis Amri and prevented him causing further deaths.
Mr Urban is thought to have been targeted by Amri after parking at Freidrich-Krause-Ufer in the German capital.
A crowdfunding campaign has since raised over $170,000 (£138,000) for the murdered truckers’ family.
Vile Amir killed 12 people and injured more than 50 others when he rammed into a Christmas market on Monday, December 19.
Thanks to bungling German cops who collared a hapless Pakistani refugee, the terrorist managed to flee the scene.
