'THE LLAMA'S F***ING BITTEN ME'

Teens break into London Zoo at night and film themselves roaming animal enclosures

The group broke into the famous zoo and wandered around until they were caught by security guards and police

THIS is the daring footage taken by a gang of teenagers who broke into London Zoo at night and filmed themselves exploring the enclosures until they were caught by police and turfed out.

One of the yobs ended up being bitten by a llama he tried to pet, and another jumped over the barriers into the empty penguin enclosure during the brazen escapade.

They wandered around the paths and even got into some of the enclosures were the animals are kept

The group of four boys filmed their bold stunt using headcams and the footage was posted on YouTube by prolific user Ally Law on December 23.

It shows them beginning their antic by clambering over a high wall on the edge of the zoo in Camden, in Regents Park, after it had closed for the day.

They laugh at a security guard who has no idea they are there as they break in.

The yobs can then be seen exploring the dark pathways with Ally telling the camera they are searching for the lions and tigers, but they only seem to find cows, goats and butterflies.

Eventually the group was spotted by security guards who immediately tracked them down and called the police

At one point it transpires that some animals are not happy at their presence with a llama – usually famed for spitting – snapping at one of the group, called Rikke.

Ally laughs gleefully at the camera while explaining his friend has been bitten, as sounds of swearing can be heard coming from Rikke.

Eventually the gang are discovered by a security guard while they are stood among some goats, who explains to them that they have broken the law by stepping onto zoo property after hours.

The video ends as the group walk through London Waterloo train station as Ally explains what happened when the security guards arrived.

He said: “It got a little bit hectic and I had to stop recording. Basically 13 police officer come running in like six guards working in the zoo and two other security guards, they caught us.

“It all got a little bit hectic in there but we managed to get off of it, we are going to get a fine through the door, not for much.

“But it’s like a civil offence fine so hopefully not too much but we managed to get in the London Zoo which was sick, so hope you guys enjoyed the video.”

The brazen footage has already had more than 10,000 views on YouTube, with mixed reviews in the comments as some praise the boys adventure and others criticise what they did.

A spokeswoman for ZSL London Zoo said: “A group of men broke into ZSL London Zoo on the night of Wednesday 21 December and filmed themselves walking through the Zoo.

“They were stopped by members of ZSL’s security team on their routine patrols, who immediately called the Metropolitan Police.

Ally then spoke to the camera after the group had been kicked out to say they had been issued fines for civil offences

“The men climbed over a locked fence into the children’s zoo area, where they interacted with some goats and a llama.

“They also climbed over a decorative gate in Tiger Territory, to access the exhibit’s public area only.

“Fortunately no animals were harmed by the individuals, and they were all given civil offence fines by the police.

“ZSL London Zoo takes the security and welfare of its animals and visitors seriously and would always seek the assistance of the police for an incident such as this.”

Earlier this month both Arsenal and West Ham had their stadiums infiltrated by a daring YouTuber who climbs on the roof of both the Emirates and the London Stadium.

The video shows how easy it is for the the YouTuber, known as DyingLlama, to climb into the Gunners’ stadium from outside before having access to the stands, pitch and roof.
