Schoolboy, 10, saved mum from violent robbers who tried to tear her earrings off
Didier Levenfiche raised the alarm and memorised the thugs' faces as they attacked his mum Tania on their doorstep
A BOY of ten has been hailed a hero by police after he saved his mum from violent robbers who tried to yank her earrings out of her ears in a brutal doorstep mugging.
Plucky Didier Levenfiche raised the alarm as the thugs attacked mum Tania, then memorised their faces so he could help officers track them down.
Didier had just arrived home from school when the two men grabbed his mother around the neck and violently pulled at her ears to steal her gems.
They also tried to grab her watch, and one of them kicked at the family dog as he tried to protect his mistress.
Didier watched from just feet away as his mother desperately called for him to get help.
He activated the house alarm to alert cops and calmly began memorising the thug' faces knowing it would help bring them to justice.
The men fled the scene in a BMW after the robbery on June 13 on a posh street close to Hampstead Heath in North London - where neighbours include TV's Richard and Judy.
The Met named Didier as Westminster police hero of 2016 after his quick wits and attention to detail led to the arrest of two suspects who were successfully picked out at an ID parade.
The thugs, brothers Eugene and Devlin Williams, are now in prison on remand awaiting sentencing for a string of at least six violent robberies against women across London North and West London.

Other victims included a 55-year-old woman attacked on her doorstep in Kensington.
Eugene Williams forced his hand over the terrified woman’s mouth and nose before threatening: “Don’t shout or scream or we will hurt you.”
An unidentified accomplice snatched the woman’s £94,000 diamond engagement ring, her wedding ring and an expensive Cartier watch.
Less than a month later he pounced on another woman out walking her dog at 8am in Shepherds Bush.
Eugene grabbed her in a bear hug and warned “If you make a noise I’ll kill you” while his sidekick pulled off her £40,000 platinum and diamond ring.
Eugene admitted his role in a total of four robberies in seven months, including one on a couple in their 60s who were confronted on their doorstep before they were forced to the ground and the wife stripped of her diamond ring she had worn for 43 years.
His brother Devlin admitted the attack on Tania and two separate robberies in August.
They will be sentenced on February 17.
