THIS IS the nail-biting moment a man uses a buggy with a toddler in it to keep the doors of a train open so he can board.

The shocking footage, filmed in China, depicts the moment the man rushes towards the waiting train with the tot in front of him.

As he pushes the pram into the carriage, the doors start to close on him.

Instead of retreating and waiting on the platform for the next service, he continues pushing in a desperate attempt to force the buggy through the closing doors.

The toddler bobs back and forth precariously, held back only by the pram seatbelt.

The worrying clip was shared online on CCTV News’ YouTube channel on Thursday.

Users have expressed their horror at the man’s boarding method – one ironically described him as the “best father of the year”.
