Murder suspect obsessed with Berlin terror attack planned repeat rampage after BEHEADING a woman and her daughter

A SUSPECTED killer planned a copycat Berlin lorry attack after beheading a woman and her daughter, police believe.
The unnamed 31-year-old drove a juggernaut towards a police roadblock at 100mph in the Ukrainian city of Odessa.
He was able to escape on foot after veering the lorry away from the cops and into a nearby field at the last moment.
Dmitry Golovin, head of local police, alleged the man "aimed to repeat Berlin terrorist attack by smashing into street crowds in a lorry”.
He is suspected of having earlier murdered a 42-year-old woman and her two-year-old daughter.
More than 1,500 officers are chasing the man while police have released pictured of the suspect and the truck he was driving.
Sniffer dogs, elite police troops and Ukrainian national guards are all involved in the hunt.
The woman he beheaded is understood to be the sister of a senior tax official in the crime-ridden Black Sea port.
His motives for the alleged beheading are not known. It was not clear if he had hijacked the truck.
The man's nationality and background have not yet been revealed.
Anis Amri, a 24-year-old Tunisian asylum seeker, allegedly carried out the lorry attack in Berlin last week, killing 12 people and injuring 48 others.
He is believed to have been at the wheel of a lorry that tore through a Christmas market in the German capital.
Amri was later shot dead by Italian police having fled to through Europe to Milan.
