Mormon singer quits choir after it agrees to sing at Donald Trump’s presidential inaugration ceremony
Jan Chamberlain said she could not endorse 'tyranny and fascism' by singing at the event
A MEMBER of a choir due to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration has sensationally quit while comparing the President-elect to Adolf Hitler.
Jan Chamberlain, of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, became the latest singer to refuse to appear at the event on January 20.
Hitmakers such as pop star Elton John and opera singer Andrea Bocelli have also rejected offers to perform for the divisive Republican billionaire.
Chamberlain said she could not endorse “tyranny and fascism” by singing for Trump.
On Facebook, she posted: “I've tried to tell myself that it will be all right and that I can continue in good conscience before God and man.

After a string of high-profile knock-backs, Trump has tweeted that many "so-called A-list celebrities" want tickets for the event.
But the property tycoon insisted that he wants "the people" to appear at his inauguration instead.
Teenage singing sensation Jackie Evancho, who came to prominence on ‘America's Got Talent’, is scheduled to sing for Trump along with dance group the Radio City Rockettes.
Yet in further embarrassment from Trump, Pheobe Pearl, a dancer with the Rockettes, took to Instagram to reveal her “embarrassment” at the group’s involvement.
She wrote: "I am speaking for just myself but please know that after we found out this news, we have been performing with tears in our eyes and heavy hearts.”
