Russell Brand questioned by police over ‘further’ alleged sex offences as probe into comic continues
RUSSELL Brand has been interviewed under caution by cops over “further” alleged historical sex offences.
Scotland Yard said that a man in his forties, understood to be the comedian and actor, had attended a police station in south London for a second time on Thursday.
It comes after Brand was previously interviewed under caution last month in relation to three “non-recent” alleged sexual offences.
Officers say the investigation is ongoing, reports .
The comic denies rape, assault and emotional abuse from 2006 to 2013 after a joint investigation involving C4’s Dispatches.
Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy said: “We continue to encourage anyone who believes they may have been a victim of a sexual offence, no matter how long ago it was, to contact us.”

He added: “We understand it can feel like a difficult step to take, and I want to reassure that we have a team of specialist officers available to advise and support.”
Brand has vehemently denied any wrongdoing and insists his relationships were "always consensual".
Officers from a special police unit for "non-recent" sexual offences after the Jimmy Savile scandal have been working in tandem with Scotland Yard to investigate the allegations, .
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “A man in his 40s attended a police station in south London for a second time on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

“The same man previously attended a police station on Thursday, November 16, 2023, for questioning. Inquiries continue.”
