MERRY revellers have hit the town in fancy dress to celebrate the festive season at pubs across the UK ahead of Christmas Day.
Santas and elves took to the streets for Christmas-themed pub crawls ahead of the big day tomorrow.
Hundreds of partiers dressed as Father Christmas and his minions took on the Otley Run, a legendary fancy-dress pub crawl in Leeds.
There are 17 stops on the pub crawl, which is a rite of passage for freshers at Leeds Beckett University and the University of Leeds.
Snaps showed students braving the cold in Santa and elf costumes – although at least two came as turkeys instead.
One reveller painted his face to look like the Grinch, and was joined by two other young men wearing Santa minidresses and tights.
Another group came as baby Jesus in his manger, Mary and the Three Wise Men.
The Otley Run has been taking place every weekend this month as celebrations ramp up ahead of Christmas Day.
Earlier this month, students including one dressed as Buzz Lightyear took on the crawl in pouring rain.
Revellers also gathered for the annual SantaCon pub crawl around London, posing for snaps in front of landmarks like the London Eye.
This year hundreds of Santas walked from Southbank to Tower Bridge, before crossing the Thames and ending up at Trafalgar Square.
It comes after King Charles bumped into Father Christmas – who assured him he was on the good list.
