Nigel Farage’s planned Hollywood Brexit movie debut slammed by Lib Dem leader Tim Farron
Farron said movie executives must have had 'far too much to drink over Christmas'
NIGEL Farage's planned Hollywood movie debut was openly mocked last night as the Lib Dems branded it a "bargain bin horror flick".
Leader Tim Farron blasted the plans for a film on the Leave campaign saying movie executives must have had "far too much to drink over Christmas".
Studio chiefs want to produce a movie telling how the ex Ukip boss battled to get Britain out of the EU.
Mr Farage's millionaire backer Arron Banks is said to be in talks with Warner Bros, who produced the Harry Potter franchise and The Hangover trilogy.
The film would be based on the book of their campaign, The Bad Boys of Brexit.

But Lib Dem leader Tim Farron said: “Movie executives must be doing a pretty expensive wind up or have had far too much to drink at a Christmas party to think was a good idea.
“It promises to be a horror flick found in the bargain bins.” Mr Banks' aide Andy Wigmore said any royalties would go to charity.
He added: “It is not something that we would personally benefit from. It is a comedy."
