Paramedics place casualty in induced coma before rushing him to hospital
A TEENAGER was placed in an induced coma after suffering a heart attack while working out at the gym.
Emergency services were called to a gym in Barnard Castle, Durham, at about 3.30pm on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old was placed in an induced coma and stabilised by paramedics and the Great North Air Ambulance.
He was then flown to hospital, arriving in a critical condition.
