How M62 police shooting victim who called himself Stud Badboy ‘was drug-dealer addicted to supercars who flew Class As into prison by drone’
Yassar Yaqub, 28, was shot three times through the windscreen of his Audi as police reacted to a tip-off that a “criminal was in possession of a firearm”.
THE suspected gunman shot dead by cops during a motorway swoop has been revealed as a major drug baron, according to a man targeted by the "heroin and crack dealer".
Yassar Yaqub, 28, who called himself 'Stud Badboy', was shot three times through the windscreen of his Audi as police reacted to a tip-off that a “criminal was in possession of a firearm”.
Chris Bean, 26, said father-of-two Yasser was renowned drug lord and a major player in the heroin and cocaine dealing underworld.
Mr Bean said the people of Huddersfield, West Yorks., would be scared to speak out because of the notoriety of Yassar and his associates.
He said it was known in the town that Yassar would buy luxury cars with his drug money after raking in profits by using drones to send Class A drugs into HMP Armley in Leeds, West Yorks.
Chris also claimed Yassar fired a gun at him in the street.
Speaking about the 28-year-old who was shot dead by cops on Monday evening, Chris said: "Yassar is horrible. I've been through hell and back with him.
"I've seen people saying he's a nice guy - that's a load of bull.
"He was a heroin and crack dealer and was constantly ripping off Cannabis grows [Cannabis dealers] and was just a major playing in Huddersfield for drugs.
"He managed to afford his Lambo [Lamborghini] by laundering money - he was such a flashy g*t.
"Yassar used to buy high powered sports cars and sell them on for profit - all funded by drug money.
"He had it [West Yorkshire] all locked down and would fly drugs into HMP Leeds at Armley with drones and make 10 times what he was making on the outside."
Adding: "If you throw a pebble in the town of Huddersfield you are not two yards away from Yassar."
Chris confirmed guns were a major part of Yassar's lifestyle and also said Yassar was lucky not to be killed in June 2015 following a shoot out which injured him just meters behind his home.
Speaking about Yassar's notoriety in Huddersfield, he said: "Everyone knows stuff about Yassar - but are just too damn scared to say anything bad because they still live there.
"I've moved out of the town now you see - I had to leave Huddersfield in a hurry because my brother ripped Yasser off with a few ounces of weed and he wanted to kill him.

Armed officers opened fire seconds after penning in the unemployed dad of one as he tried to join the M62 in Huddersfield, West Yorks, on Monday evening.
The operation followed the launch of a manhunt by local cops after an officer was shot at outside a nightclub on Christmas Day. But sources said the two incidents were not linked.
Pictures emerged of Yaqub's home covered in security cameras as people protested his death in the streets of Bradford.
Yaqub stood trial for attempted murder in 2010 after being accused of shooting at two rivals from a car in Huddersfield. He was acquitted due to lack of evidence.
He was driving his Audi on to the M62 at 6pm on Monday when gun cops pounced.
A Mercedes E-Class, a BMW and a VW Scirocco were also still at the scene on Tuesday.
Witness Shahnaz Malik said: “There was a swarm of armed police and ambulances. You could see the bullet holes in the windscreen.”
Three other men were arrested in the swoop. They remain in custody after being treated in hospital for injuries not linked to the shooting.
Two others arrested have now been bailed pending enquiries.
On Monday night, riot cops were drafted in after a mob protesting about the shooting brought a busy road to a standstill.
The group carried banners — one of which read “Police don’t murder” — as they blocked Leeds Road in Bradford. The Independent Police Complaints Commission said last night a “non-police issue firearm” had been found in the car driven by Yaqub.
Forensic officers spent the day carrying out detailed searches of the motorway slip road behind giant screens. Four sets of keys were seen on the Audi’s bonnet, thought to be from the cars involved.
A post-mortem on Yaqub was due to take place yesterday.
Armed officers also raided his family home as relatives arrived to comfort each other.
Family solicitor Amjad Hassan said: “Mr Yaqub’s family are distraught. They are fully aware the incident that led to the death of Mr Yaqub is being investigated by the IPCC.”
One pal said: “He would do anything to help anyone. He didn’t deserve this.”
Yaqub’s house was covered by up to ten CCTV cameras. One neighbour claimed that he was a well-known drug dealer.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed five people had been arrested and the incident had been referred to the IPCC.
