Its maker, Bell and Wyson, claim it’s designed to spot intruders.

Homeowners can watch what’s going on using an app on their smartphone from  wherever they  are in the world.

And it lets you control your lighting too.

The lightbulb can monitor your lights, stream its surroundings to your mobile phone and detect smoke

So if you want to make it appear as though you’re at home, you can turn the bulb on at the push of a button.

It even boasts a smoke detector, which will put you at east while you’re away.

But customers might be put off after a wave of creepy hidden camera-related crimes.

In one case a Starbucks customer found a spy camera in the toilets in south London.

There’s also been a rise in spy tech in hotel rooms and AirBnBs after sick landlords and motel owners were found to be filming their guests.

And it’s not just hotels.

In one case an aspiring Brit model hid a camera in a tanning booth to film naked women.
