Uncle of £9m Lotto winner Michael Carroll was caught on CCTV blasting his wife in the head with a shotgun as she tried to run away

THE uncle of 'Lotto Lout' Michael Carroll was seen on CCTV blasting his wife with a shotgun as she desperately tried to run away, an inquest heard.
Stephen Muncaster, 47, aimed the gun at wife Allison, 48, as she sat on the sofa before shooting her in the back of the head as she attempted to flee.
His body was later discovered in the driveway of the home in King's Lynn, Norfolk, away from CCTV cameras.
Muncaster was married to 'King of Chavs' Carroll's aunt Kelly when the former binman won £9.7 million on the National Lottery in 2002 before he blew all of his winnings.
But the couple split and he moved new wife Allison into his bungalow in the quiet Norfolk village of Magdalen.
The inquest heard how the couple had looked "clearly upset" on the evening of the double tragedy on July 12, 2016.
CCTV from the night of the shooting showed Muncaster collecting the shotgun he had earlier concealed under the bed before locating his wife.
After finding Allison sitting on the sofa he pulled the gun from behind his back as his wife tried to run.
Muncaster blasted Allison in the head with the weapon leaving her dead on the living room floor.
His body was later found outside with the shotgun on the ground near where he was lying.

Detective Constable Jeremy Pitt told Norfolk Coroners Court: "It was quite clear that, and recorded on the footage, that Stephen Muncaster had shot Allison Muncaster.
"We can't say for certain what happened outside as that's not recorded on CCTV.
"We can see Stephen having shot his wife then goes outside."
Mr Pitt said that at 11.49pm on July 11 the couple were seen looking "very upset" with their heads in their hands.
He added: "Stephen goes to collect the shotgun that had been concealed under the bed earlier in the evening."
The shot was fired at 12.05am on July 12.
He told the court: "Allison was sitting on the sofa in the second lounge. Stephen then produces the gun from behind his back.
"He takes aim, Allison, realising what's about to happen, gets off the sofa and tries to run.
"She's fatally injured in the head and collapses on the lounge floor."
The inquest heard there was no record of previous domestic incidents and Muncaster, who was a builder, had held a valid shotgun and firearms licence.
A post-mortem examination concluded his wife died of a shotgun wound to the head.
Paramedic Michael Heppel said in a written statement that Muncaster's shotgun was by his right side and when he went into the property he found Allison dead and two dogs "standing quietly behind a child gate in the kitchen".
Norfolk senior coroner Jacqueline Lake recorded a conclusion of unlawful killing.
She adjourned the inquest into Muncaster's death to April 7, 2017 for further review.
