WORLD War Three has ALREADY begun for the West's enemies and "we're all participating in it," a high-ranking Putin enemy has warned.

Alexander Osovtsov, a veteran Russian MP, says the world can no longer ignore the fact that both the war in Ukraine and the Israel-Hamas conflict are "two pieces of one war".

"The war in Ukraine and Israel's war against Hamas are two pieces of one war," Osovtsov told a global security conference in London.

"It is one war whether or not we choose to call it World War Three... and we're all participating in it," said the Russian exile, who was a key figure in the pro-democracy movement that helped lead to the collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s.

Osovtsov argued that World War Three started almost two years ago as Putin's tanks rolled across the border and the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022.

"The war is now being fought in two military theatres - eastern Europe and the Middle East."

In a stark warning to policymakers, he argued that peace with the existing Russian state will never be possible.

Any kind of ceasefire between Kyiv and Moscow will "only be a chance for [Putin] to increase his forces and begin once again," he said.

"This is the nature of the modern-day Russian state - [it] cannot live in peace, the only style of life is aggression and destruction."

Agreeing with the urgency of his statements, Professor Taras Kuzio from the National University of Kyiv stated that the West has spent too long ignoring the threats it faces.

He said today: "Russia, North Korea and Iran already believe they are at war with the West.

"For them, the third World War has already begun.

"Why don’t western governments believe it? I do not believe it has sunk in yet."

The "concrete" of the "anti-western axis of evil" is setting, Kuzio argued.

"Their war against the West is being fought in Ukraine," he said, directly comparing it to Iran using its proxies to fight Israel as part of its "war with the West".

"Russia and Iran have the same goals - eradication of Ukraine and Israel off the face of the earth."

The expert in global politics and security added: "There is no middle ground for Putin - he will not give up.

"We face a dictator on a historical mission... one based on Soviet nostalgia, a desire for revenge and to need to rebuild the core of the USSR."

Putin's aim since 2012, Kuzio said, "is to enter history like Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great, and Stalin."

For over a decade, Putin has "manifested a cult of war and now we reach its crescendo."

Former US General Ben Hodges also today drew parallels between the current global security situation and that of World War II.

"The current challenges the West faces are similar in scope, scale, danger to those faced by Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt in 1941 and 1942."

These leaders "did not negotiate with Hitler or Japanese Emperor Hirohito," said the retired military leader, who served as commander of the US Army in Europe.

Instead, "they rose to war".

"Today China is watching to see if the West has the combined political will to help Ukraine defeat Russia, for Israel to defeat Hamas, to detain the Iranian [threat]... and to deter North Korea from dangerous escalation and then still have enough to prevent Xi from making a terrible calculation [with Taiwan]."

In this "ever-changing landscape of global politics", General Hodges argued that it is time for strong decision-making and heavy sanctions.

Freedom and democracy "must" prevail.

It comes as a Nato military chief warned Brits to prepare for an all-out war with Russia and be ready to join the battle.

Admiral Rob Bauer on Thursday told civilians to be ready for a conflict that will change their lives.

As the globe faces its "most dangerous and volatile moment" in history, large numbers of private citizens will need to be mobilised.

During a crunch summit between Nato defence chiefs in Brussels, Bauer said: "We need to be readier across the whole spectrum...We have to realise it’s not a given that we are in peace."

"And that’s why we [Nato forces] are preparing for a conflict with Russia," he frighteningly announced.

The same day Russia's warmongering foreign minister Sergei Lavrov vowed a 'New World Order' was emerging and promised the West that their time of "global domination" is over.

In a major press conference, the Kremlin crony blamed the US and its allies for launching a "war" against Russia and claimed Moscow and its pariah pals have now "surpassed" Nato on the world stage.

His statements followed only days after a leaked military report revealed what could be Putin's step-by-step plan to bring the West to the brink of World War 3.

The secret documents described Putin's possible "path to conflict" which would reach its climax in 2025 on "Day X" when half a million Nato and Russian soldiers face each other.

The bombshell files, obtained by  from Germany's Ministry of Defence, laid out exactly how the Kremlin boss might prepare for a hybrid attack on Nato as early as next winter and a full-blown war next summer.

Ex-British tank commander Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon told The Sun that while the chilling war plans are a "worst-case scenario", they are "absolutely possible".

He said: "We are in probably the most dangerous and volatile place in the world than we've been... I can't even think of a time in the Cold War."

While a bloody and grinding war of attrition continues in Ukraine, the Middle East has become a powder keg unsettled by Israel's ongoing war against Hamas, Iran-backed Houthi rebel attacks in the Red Sea, and recent clashes and strikes between Iran and Pakistan.

All that is deadly dangerous for the UK, Defence Secretary Grant Shapps said this week.

He warned that Britain could be facing wars with RussiaChinaIran and North Korea in five years - and Brit troops could be dragged into the mess.
