Couple left ‘very badly shaken’ after shooting at Northern Ireland home

Detectives have launched an investigation into the late-night attack

GUNSHOTS were fired at a Northern Ireland home last night leaving a man and woman “very badly shaken”.

The couple managed to escape harm after two blasts hit the front of the house in Ballymagowan Avenue, Londonderry.

Detectives are now appealing for information following the shooting shortly before 10pm on Thursday night.

If anyone has any information, they have been told to contact detectives at Strand Road on 101 quoting incident reference number 1172 of 05/01/2017, or alternatively contact the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
