INCREDIBLE drone footage shows the moment a police dog caught a suspect on the run using thermal imaging.
Cops in Sheffield chased a white Skoda Fabia after it failed to stop on January 20.
A drone from the National Police Air Service tracked the motor until it pulled over and two men got out and ran away into woodland.
The pair thought they had given cops the slip - but Luna the police dog was hot on their heels.
Luna's handler PC Matt Aris said: "I could see them both ahead.
"I challenged them, telling them to stand still or Luna would be released.

"One suspect failed to comply and started to run.
"I let Luna go, who immediately ran after him and quickly detained him."
PC Aris's bodycam recorded him shouting: "Police officer and dog.
"Stand still or I'll send the dog. Stand still, do not run. Otherwise, I will send the dog.

"Do you understand? Stand still!"
One of the men stopped, but the other took off again - so PC Aris let Luna go after him.
He said: "Challenge given, dog released."
Luna caught up with the man in just a few seconds, clamping her jaws around his leg.
The man screamed "Please" before PC Aris caught up and tackled him to the ground.
The 23-year-old man whom Luna caught was arrested on suspicion of a number of driving offences and possession of a Class A drug.
The second man, 27, was also arrested - and both have now been released under investigation.
