Model Abigail Guerra, 21, and pal shot dead by hitmen on motorbike in horror drive-by attack in Colombia

A PRETTY model and her pal were shot dead in the heart of Bogota by hitmen on a motorbike.

Abigail Guerra, 21, and Andres Prieto, 31, died in the Colombian capital when the killers pulled up alongside them and opened fire.

The Tuesday night attack saw the pair's car crash into a taxi.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ronald Marino told local media: “We have a regrettable incident to report involving hitmen.

"Apparently, two people are involved in this crime, but we are investigating the incident with specialised units."

Prieto was an ex-convict who had only been released from prison a few days ago after serving a five-year sentence.

He reportedly had a history of drug trafficking and theft.

Abigail was known to be a prominent model and creator of adult content, according to reports.

The couple were travelling in a green Hyundai Accent GL vehicle when they were intercepted by two individuals on a motorcycle who shot them.

The incident caused the driver of the vehicle to lose control and crash into a taxi, whose occupant escaped unharmed.

A local security guard who witnessed the scene but who has not been named told local media: "I saw a car speeding up and a man behind him shot it three times and then the car left in a rush and missed a stop sign and ended up crashing into a taxi."

The guard said he took “two injured people out of the car, the girl and another person. I managed to get the driver of the car out".

The authorities have so far made no arrests.

A preliminary investigation reportedly suggests that the hit may have been a settling of scores related to drug trafficking in Bogota.
