Man gets £105 parking ticket for leaving his car running while it’s on his own DRIVEWAY
Taylor Trupiano who lives in Michigan, US, was stunned when he got given the fine

A MAN was left stunned when he got a £105 parking ticket while his car was on his own driveway.
Taylor Trupiano was amazed to come out to his motor, which he had running in the early morning to heat it up.
The vehicle was parked on his own property in Roseville, Michigan, where temperatures frequently plunge to below zero in the winter months.
He told: "I thought it was some kind of joke at first, and then I was thrown back by it. I was really surprised."
The ticket was given to him for leaving the keys in the ignition with the motor running - the attendant who handed out the ticket said it was issued because there was no one around.
Trupiano, who had popped back inside to his house when it was issues, said he was only doing what lots of people do in Michigan in winter.
He said: "I was in and out in probably about 7-8 minutes.
"So in that amount of time he ran up here, gave me a ticket and by the time I got out he was nowhere to be seen."
Frustrated with what had happened, he posted a photo on Facebook and it soon went viral, getting thousands of comments and shares.
Roseville Police Department issued the ticket, which was a US $128 fine.

While cities have their own rules regarding leaving a car turned on and unattended there is no state law about doing it.
Police Chief James Berlin said they issue the fines as it can be dangerous as the car can get stolen: "We have five to ten cars stolen this way every winter.
"It's dangerous, and of course it drives everyone's insurance rates up. It drives our crime rates up."
He continued he wasn't going to apologise for the ticket, and it fact would be urging officers to do more to enforce the law: "It's common sense.
"We can't warn everybody of the law there is. Common sense says you don't leave your car running unattended."
