Terrifying video reveals how easy we could be yanked into oblivion by SUPERMASSIVE black hole lurking in our galaxy
We can't SEE black holes but scientists have found a way to track their gravitational waves to see how they snare solar systems whole

THIS is the closest we can get to watching a massive black hole lurking in our galaxy as it swallows everything in its wake.
Black holes munch everything around them and are predicted to swallow the Earth in one big gulp in the future.
Scientists aren't quite sure how the terrifying astro-swirls of doom form, but one thing is for certain - we should be very, very afraid of them.
And now an incredible time lapse shows how our nearest black hole, the Sagittarius A, uses its gravitational waves pulls victims in.
The time-lapse clip shows how the hole sucking in massive stars millions of times larger than the sun in our own Milky Way.
It uses 20 years of data collected on the stars that live near to it, according to the space boffs at UCLA's Galactic Center Group.
For perspective, keep your eye on the yellow line closely.
It's a model of star S2, which is 15 million times larger than our own sun and is travelling at 11 million miles per hour.
The S2 completes one orbits in around 16 Earth years.
The incredible film makes for grim viewing, but if we do get sucked up, there's always a silver lining.
Black holes could be portals to other universes, experts claim.
