BBC slammed for backing claims of SECOND Russian ‘dirty dossier’ on Trump with experts labelling coverage ‘biased and impotent’
BBC reporter Paul Wood has claimed there is more footage relating to Mr Trump's sex life
THE BBC has been criticised for backing reports of a second Russian "dirty dossier" on President-elect Donald Trump with some calling their coverage biased.
Foreign correspondent, Paul Wood, has stated former British spy Christopher Steele is not the only person to say Russia has footage related to Mr Trump's sex life.
Mr Wood stated in his blog that .
He wrote: "I got a message back that there was 'more than one tape', 'audio and video', on 'more than one date', in 'more than one place', in the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow and also in St Petersburg and that the material was 'of a sexual nature'."
Mr Wood did add that "nobody should believe something just because an intelligence agent says it" and no-one had ever seen the video.
During a press conference, BBC International Correspondent Ian Pannell was told to stand up by Mr Trump when he tried to ask a question.
Mr Trump then added: "BBC News - there's another beauty."
The broadcaster's coverage has been met with widespread criticism on social media.
After Mr Wood appeared on TV news last night, fellow journalist, Iain Dale, tweeted: "The BBC News at Ten just sank to the level of Buzzfeed. An utter disgrace of a report from Paul Wood."
David Vance said: "10 minutes on the #BBC news and the State Broadcaster is in full 'Get Trump' mode. The bias is visceral and utterly impotent."
Another user apologised to Mr Trump and said it was an "appalling national embarrassment."

Buzzfeed was criticised for publishing an "unverified" report which alleged Mr Trump took part in a sordid sex act with prostitutes.
The news outlet admitted the report contained errors and allegations which could not be substantiated.
The dossier was reportedly offered to other media outlets, including the and NBC, who refused to publish it because the claims could be not be verified.
But when CNN reported that Trump had been briefed by the CIA on the lurid claims, Buzzfeed decided to publish the document in full.
Buzzfeed editor Ben Smith has released a statement insisting that the site published the material so “Americans could make up their own minds about the allegations”.
He defended the site’s decision stating that “publishing this dossier reflects how we see the job of reporters in 2017’ and added that he had “serious reason to doubt the allegations.”
