GEORGE Michael's boyfriend called his nephew sobbing after finding his partner dead in bed.
Josh Fawaz, Fadi's nephew, described how he answered the phone to his distraught uncle, who had just found his boyfriend dead on Christmas Day.
The 43-year-old called his nephew and said: "Oh God, I think he'd dead" after finding George unresponsive at home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
Josh, a DJ, told "I've never heard a grown man cry so much. Fadi called me saying 'what am I going to do without him.'
"They spent almost every day together for six years. He was so upset, he had been crying at the house beside George and I believe he found him dead."
The 28-year-old returned to Brisbane last week after living in London for two years.

His nephew added: "There was nothing but love in that relationship, he has been called a leech and all sorts, but he never took advantage or would do anything to hurt George."
A relative claimed George tried to end his relationship with lover Fadi several times in the last 18 months.
The star was said to have told his on-off boyfriend not to come to his home as he attempted to sever all ties.
But the family insider said that George repeatedly found himself drawn back to the hair stylist.
It has also been claimed George secretly travelled to a Vienna hospital in the weeks before he died with Fadi.

The singer's cause of death remains unclear after his postmortem came back “inconclusive”.
Further tests into the tragic star’s sudden death will be needed following the investigation in December.
