Jesse Baird & Luke Davies missing updates — Bodies found after Beau Lamarre charged for ‘killing TV presenter & partner’
AUSTRALIAN police have found two bodies on a rural property that are believed to be Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.
"We are very confident that we have located Luke and Jesse," NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb said on Tuesday
The discovery comes after police officer Beau Lamarre, 28, turned himself in on Friday morning. He will be charged with two counts of murder in Jesse Baird and Luke Davies' disappearance, according to authorities.
The arrest was announced after detectives found blood-covered clothes in a skip bin, along with "a projectile" at Baird's house in Paddington.
"This has now been physically matched to a NSW Police firearm and forms part of the evidence for the alleged facts to face court for this 28-year-old man," Detective Superintendent Daniel Doherty said.
Lamarre, who was previously in a romantic relationship with Baird, will be refused bail and is expected to face court this weekend.

Cops searched four locations
In the hunt for Jesse Baird and Luke Davies, police conducted searches in four locations:
- Jesse Baird's sharehouse in Paddington
- Luke Davies' home in Waterloo
- Beau Lamarre's residence in Balmain
- A skip bin in Cronulla
Killer allegedly used his service weapon
Detective Superintendent Daniel Doherty revealed in a press conference Friday that while searching Jesse Baird's house in Paddington, detectives found "a projectile at the premises which had been discharged and also a fire cartridge case."
"This has now been physically matched to a NSW Police firearm and forms part of the evidence for the alleged facts to face court for this 28-year-old man," Doherty said.
"The discharge of the firearm in a house in Paddington has been matched to the 28-year-old man's firearm.
"However, we still have to establish what the cause of death is and that's why we need to find not only for our investigation but mainly for the family, where the location of the bodies are."
Doherty said there was a "large amount of blood" at the scene.
Police found bloody clothes on Wednesday
Police believed "there had been some sort of incident" after they found blood-covered clothes belonging in a skip on Wednesday morning.
While it was unknown at the time who the blood belonged to, cops believed the amount present on the belongings suggested at least one of the men experienced a "significant injury."
Neighbours reportedly heard an argument coming from Baird's home on Monday but did not report it until the police arrived on Wednesday.
Beau Lamarre to be charged
NSW police officer Beau Lamarre turned himself in Friday morning in connection to the missing persons case of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.
Detective Superintendent Daniel Doherty from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad said in a press conference Friday afternoon that the constable will be charged with two counts of murder.
Man taken into custody
A man has been taken into custody after Jesse Baird and his boyfriend disappeared in Sydney under suspicious circumstances.
On Friday morning, New South Wales (NSW) Police confirmed that a man had handed himself into a local police station.
The force said in a statement: "As part of investigations into the disappearance of two men in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, a 29-year-old man presented to Bondi Police Station shortly after 10.30am today (Friday 23 February 2024).
"The man will be transferred to Waverley Police station where investigations will continue."
A spokeswoman confirmed to The Sun that a 29-year-old man had been arrested.
Police have since clarified that Beau Lamarre was the man taken into custody. Lamarre is 28.

Jesse Baird was last seen at his Paddington home on February 19.

Jesse Baird's most recent role at Network 10 was as a Producer and Presenter in Sydney, New South Wales, where he worked full-time from March 2021 to January 2024.

From January 2017 to March 2021, Baird served as a TV Presenter and Producer of Totally Wild, another children's TV series.
The show had a current affairs program format and regularly ran stories on topics like science, technology, the environment, and action sports.
From October 2020 to October 2022, Baird was a QLD Reporter for Studio 10.

According to his , Jesse Baird went to Loyola College between 2010 and 2015.
He received his Bachelor of Education degree in Drama and Media from La Trobe University in 2019.
The 26-year-old worked at Network 10 for over seven years.

Cops are reviewing CCTV
The last sighting of the missing men was caught on a security camera near Jesse Baird's home in Paddington, Sydney on Monday.
CCTV shows Baird and Luke Davies near his Paddington home, with a white van also seen in the footage being probed by cops.
The pair was spotted walking toward the back of the terrace home - but neither has been seen or heard from since.
The men's last known movements
The police fear for both of the missing men as their families have been unable to reach them.
Jesse Baird's phone was last active on Tuesday night when text messages were sent to his friends, cops confirmed.
Luke Davies has not been to work since Monday and his family has not spoken to him since then.
'Please come home safe'
Concerned friends have also left comments on Luke Davies' last Instagram post.
"Everyone’s thinking of you Luke, please come home safe," one .
"I'm hoping you're safe Luke, we are all worried sick, please be okay...I been praying," another commented.
Jesse's last Instagram post flooded with concern
Concerned followers have flooded the of Jesse's most recent Instagram post.
"Jesse your gorgeous please come home if you read this," one wrote.
Another added, "Hope you two are ok."
"Hope you return home safely," a third wrote.
Person of interest known for taking selfies with celebs
Beau Lamarre is known for taking selfies with celebrities like Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian.
Most recently, he was seen following Kourtney Kardashian's car to grab a snap with her and Travis Barker
Police are now trying to locate Lamarre.
Qantas offers support to Davies' colleagues
Davies has worked as a flight attendant with Qantas after moving from Brisbane to Sydney.
After the news of his disappearance broke, the company has issued a statement, offering support to Davies' colleagues who were close to him.
The company wrote: "Our thoughts are with family, friends and colleagues of our crew member at this very difficult time."
Former colleague 'shocked'
Stacey Thompson worked with Baird on children's show Totally Wild, and she has told DailyMail: " I'm shocked actually.
"I worked with Jesse for a few years and we sat across from one another in the TW office.
She continued, "He was a lovely work friend, always professional and keen to learn. I prefer not to comment further at this time, until more details come to light."
Investigators gather evidence
Jesse and Luke's credit cards have not been used since the weekend and they were discovered in the skip.
Forensic experts have scoured through the crime scene collecting evidence.
The police were seen taking furniture from the home, including a cabinet that appears to have blood specks on it.
Police comment on person of interest
Police statement on the case read, " Following inquiries, detectives are looking at a line of inquiry that a third person may be able to assist with the investigation.
"Police are currently trying to locate him.
The statement continues, "Detectives will continue to look at all past relationships and associations."
Person of interest can't be reached
Beau Lamarre, a current police officer, was named a person of interest in the case after the investigators learned that he once dated Jesse Baird.
Relatives have told the police that their break-up was "bitter."
Officials are hoping to speak to the officer, but have been unable to locate him, and it is understood that Lamarre has taken sick leave this week.

Friends have taken to social media to ask for help.
"I knew Luke back in my Brissy days and he recently moved to Sydney (Waterloo, but last seen in Paddington) for work," Anna Ghioni wrote on Facebook.
"Please share this post and report any sightings or information, even if it seems insignificant."
Luke Davies' best friend describes him
Qantas flight attendant Maddison Bradley has spoken to Australia about her best friend, Luke Davies.
"I hope we find him. He is such a sweet soul," she said.
"He is a fantastic person, so positive, bright and bubbly. We've been friends since 2017. We worked at Tigerair together and then he helped me get into Qantas."
She added, "He is an international flight attendant for Qantas and he is driven, humble and super intelligent."
Belongings found at skip
Police found a number of personal items left behind at a skip bin.
Officials located wallets, an $8,000 watch, credit cards, and a mobile phone.
There has been no sign of the two men.

A friend has expressed their concern for missing presenter Jesse Baird.
This comes after Baird reportedly told pals he was worried about being "stalked" by an ex-boyfriend.
“I’m so scared for his wellbeing,” a friend told The Daily Telegraph.
“He used the word stalker”.
Police find bloody belongings in skip bin
Police believe “there has been some sort of incident” after they found blood-covered clothes belonging to Davies and Baird on a Wednesday morning.
At this stage, it is unknown who the blood belongs to.
But a phone, keys and credit cards were also among belongings discovered in the skip bin – 18 miles away from Baird’s residency.
