Woman launches Facebook bid to reunite her ‘gorgeous’ friend with mystery man pal met on Stansted to Dublin flight
Vera exchanged glances with the handsome stranger during journey on January 3 before having a conversation with him but was too shy to ask for his number
A FACEBOOK appeal has been launched to help reunite two strangers who met on a flight last week.
The online search is being carried out on behalf of a woman called Vera, who lives in Dublin, after she locked eyes with a charming man across the cabin of a plane flying from London Stansted to the Irish capital.
The reports that her friend Leonie, who helped launch the appeal, said: “She would love to meet him again and she is gorgeous.”
On it was explained that Vera, who is originally from Germany, exchanged glances with the handsome stranger during the flight before talking to him at passport control.
Despite their conversation, they parted ways at baggage claim with Vera too shy to ask for the man’s number.

However, he made such an impression on her that she has been telling friends about him ever since and they have decided to play digital cupid and find the mystery man.
Vera had been visiting a friend in London to celebrate New Year’s before she caught the plane back across the Irish Sea.
She was on Ryanair flight FR2371 from London Stansted to Dublin at 10.05am on Tuesday, 3rd January, when she noticed the handsome passenger in Row 9D.
The only personal details Vera has from her conversation with the man is that he is British, lives in London and was visiting friends in Dublin for two days.
She described him as dark blond, wearing a white shirt and grey jacket with a leather bag in hand and about 5ft 11in tall.
Leonie said: “Vera had to collect her bag from baggage claim and he said his friends were waiting for him to pick him up. And that was it.”
She added: “He hesitated a bit when Vera said she had to pick up her bag first and he said, 'oh okay' and then she said have a nice stay.”
Leonie is asking for anyone who was on that flight or remembers meeting Vera to contact her – there’s a ‘gorgeous’ woman waiting to hear from you.
