EERIE pictures are said to show the ghost of a singer who haunts a Victorian theatre where she died of a heart attack over a century ago.
Eva Gray collapsed back stage after signing 'Goodbye Little Girl, Goodbye' to crowds at the Biddeford City Theatre in Maine, USA, in 1904.
The spirit stalks the building where she died aged 33 following her third encore for demanding audiences who came to see her perform on Halloween.
Ghost hunters have now captured the first ever image of an apparition inside the building – built in the 1800s – which they believe is the ghost of Eva Gray.
Infared images taken at the theatre last month show a ghostly white figure in an evening dress standing on the stairs appearing to walk out of the building.

Others show a creepy apparition looking out over the stage from the upper tier, while a video shows a mysterious white figure float across the screen.
Caroline Mezoian, 51, who took the photos, believes it is the spirit of Eva Gray, who died while her own three-year-old daughter was in the audience.
She said: “This is the first time in four years of paranormal research we have ever captured a full body apparition.
“'I didn't really believe it at first, but when you look at the images how can you deny that's not something?”
Caroline said that other members of the ghost hunting group – made up of working mums – said they felt a chilly presence.
Her footage also shows a second figure standing on the balcony appearing to look down over the stage.
She added: “I am not one of the 'feelers or sensitives' on the team. I'm all about the equipment and I need to be able to see something or hear something on our devices.
“I painstakingly go through footage and I'm still not done with the investigation. Others in the group felt something but I can honestly say we never expected that.
“It’s real but we will let people think what they want.”
Caroline and friends were in the spooky theatre from 5.30pm until 8.45pm on December 19 after being granted permission from the owner.
She added: “Sceptics will think what they want but this is the most convincing evidence we have yet.”
