THIS is the hilarious moment committed flight stewards go through a full safety demonstration — to a plane with only TWO passengers.

They can be seen going through detailed emergency instructions, including hand gestures and signals, despite nearly every seat being empty.

A baffled dad and son were the only travellers on the 35-minute Horizon Air flight from Victoria, Canada to Seattle.

They watched in amazement as stewards went through the complete demo, with one standing at the other end of the cabin.

The minute-long clip shows one crew member giving instructions on how to fasten seatbelts, while another advises them to ask for assistance "if travelling with an infant", even though there are clearly no babies on board.

The son who filmed the bizarre episode said: "So my dad and I took a flight and we were the only two passengers.

";The flight attendants still went through all the motions, announcements, and safety preparations."

The Sun has contacted Horizon Air for comment.
