Terrified walkers in Devon stumbled across the hard-to-miss prints while out over the weekend.

Rock Solid Coasteerin group, in Torquay, said they emerged from the woodlands and covered all of the coastal path in shocking sights they had never seen before.

The group of pals were left so "weirded out" they couldn't believe their eyes and snapped some pictures.

While the footprint wasn't measured, one man said it was half the size again of a size 11 and said it was "clearly a bare foot".

He told : "The prints were big. I’m a size 11 and they were half as big again.

"Clearly a bare foot, every print was perfect like the one in the photo.”

It comes after one petrified mum believed she saw the gigantic beast figure in Northern Ireland.

Maxine Caulfield's dogs apparently sensed a presence among the trees and went to investigate while out on a walk through an area in Country Antrim.

Many have questioned the existence of Bigfoot over the years.

Alleged sightings have occurred, along with footprints which some believe is evidence of his existence.

The mythical beast is thought to stand seven to ten feet tall and weigh more than 35 stone, with footprints 17 inches long.

One of the first discoveries of Bigfoot was back in 1811 when British explorer David Thompson found large footprints that have been attributed to the creature.
