Donald Trump pays fan’s £800 restaurant bill as he’s mobbed while stopping by his Washington DC hotel just hours before he officially becomes president

DONALD Trump made a fan's day great again by picking up her thousand dollar dinner bill and pecking her on the cheek.

Trump supporter Jenna Setticasi jetted up from Florida to Washington D.C. to join in the celebrations ahead of The Donald's inauguration tomorrow.

She couldn't have expected to get so close to the President-elect, but far from being behind a wall of Secret Service agents he roamed around his hotel in the capital, posing for pictures with fans.

The billionaire then splashed his cash bu picking up Jenna's £800 bill at the restaurant in his new property on Pennsylvania Avenue, the same street as his soon to be home, The White House.

Trump received a rapturous reception at the Trump International Hotel in DC.

He managed to duck into his hotel by faking a trip to the Reagan National airport, then dodging the press corps before turning around to drive back to his hotel.

But he only spent around half an hour glad handing his supporters inside the hotel before shooting off again in his motorcade.

His motorcade changed direction, to the dismay of Washington reporters who were trying to keep up with him as Trump's car made a beeline for his hotel.
