President Obama spoke about how difficult it was to give up his smart phone and discussed how primitive the device was he had to use which was for security reasons.

He told Jimmy Fallon last year that his staff explained: "For security reasons -- this is a great phone, state-of-the-art - but it doesn't take pictures, you can't text, the phone doesn't work, you can't play your music on it."

Hillary Clinton, who was defeated by Trump as the democratic candidate, also wanted to keep her personal Blackberry as secretary of state.

However it was this that led to her email debacle which she blamed for derailing her campaign.
