Barack Obama seen deep in thought as he plays golf during his first weekend unemployed for eight years
The former President is currently on a "much needed" holiday with wife Michelle in California
FORMER President Barack Obama hit the golf course on his first day out of office looking deep in thought.
The 44th president spent the first days of his retirement playing a round of golf in California over the weekend.
Obama looked as though as he had a lot on his mind as he drove around in a golf buggy at the ultra-exclusive Porcupine Creek Golf Club.
Dressed in a light blue polo shirt and baseball cap, the former President played 18 holes accompanied by a handful of secret service agents.
Thanks to a bill he signed in 2013, Obama will have a security detail for the rest of his life.
Previously, a law passed in 1977 only allowed for presidents to receive Secret Service protection for ten years after they left office.
Obama was seen laughing and joking with golfers at one point and even fist-bumped one after watching a great shot.
