Chelsea Clinton speaks out to defend Donald Trump’s son Barron, 10, from cruel trolls – but then attacks his dad in the SAME post
EX-FIRST daughter Chelsea Clinton has stepped in to defend Barron Trump after cyber-bullies targeted the 10-year-old boy.
President Donald Trump’s “mini-me” has been subjected to a barrage of cruel taunts - with one comedy writer predicting he would turn into a mass shooter.
But Chelsea Clinton - daughter of Bill and Hillary - urged the public back off Barron Trump.
On Facebook last night, she said: “Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does - to be a kid.
But she then says: “Standing up for every kid also means opposing POTUS (President of the United States) policies that hurt kids.”
Chelsea, 36, spent a good deal of her childhood in the White House while her father Bill Clinton was President from 1993 to 2001.
She experienced bullying in the media when she was in the spotlight.
But her Facebook post sparked an immediate response with some users calling her “hypocritical”.
They claim this is because while defending Barron, Chealsea is making strong allegations against his dad, claiming his policies will harm children.
One user said: “If you agree kids should not be targeted fine.
"Leave it at that," according to .

Saturday Night Live writer Katie Rich received strong backlash on social media for her tweet on Friday regarding the youngest First Son.
She said: “Barron Trump will be this country's first homeschool shooter.”
The comic has since deleted her tweet and made her account private.
