Rare albino alligator with white scales and pink eyes fails to blend into her surroundings

Snow-white gator Pearl weighs 105lbs and resides at Gatorland in Orlando

THIS rare albino alligator struggles to blend into her surroundings in an animal-themed amusement park in Florida.

These stunning pictures and video footage show the snow-white alligator creep out of the water while trying to snatch a hat after being hit on the nose with it.

The seven and a half-foot-long, 105-pound alligator is no slouch and her pink eyes make it almost impossible to see where she is looking.

The incredible images and footage show Pearl, the resident albino alligator at Gatorland in Orlando.

“Pearl is ten years old,” said a spokesperson for the park.

“She arrived at Gatorland when she was three years old.

“She is an albino alligator, due to the complete absence of pigmentation, which gives her white skin and pink eyes.

“Visitors to the park like to come and see a rare albino alligator like Pearl.”

Gatorland, the ‘Alligator Capital of the World’, is a 100-acre theme park in southern Orlando.

The park boasts four extremely rare leucistic ‘white’ alligators and is known for buying and rescuing nuisance alligators from trappers that would otherwise be killed for their meat and skin.
