SHOCKING footage shows a female Donald Trump supporter having her hair set on FIRE during a ‘peaceful’ protest against the new President.
According to the YouTube clip, the disturbing incident took place on Inauguration Day on Friday in Washington DC.
The video shows a group of anti-Trump demonstrators chanting slogans such as ‘This is what Democracy looks like’ and ‘Love Trumps Hate’ while standing next to some Trump supporters.
Two young female Republicans pose for pictures next to the vocal protesters.
But when the second girl poses for a snap, her hair is set on fire prompting a male Trump fan to pat out the flames.
Her friend is then heard shouting “Did someone really try to set my friend on fire?”
The video slows down the footage and zooms in alleging that a girl in a blue hat is the culprit.
The next sequence shows some anti-Trump marchers apologising saying “no one deserves that”.
One of the video’s captions read: “Everything had been fine up until this moment, and it just comes to show that 'Peaceful' Protests aren't always what they seem to be."
In the comments section, a woman claiming to be the victim’s mother said: “She is physically fine but still shaken.”
Other posters said they have reported the incident to the police, reports .
