Quaint countryside B&B in Dorset fends off competition from Florida, Prague and Italy to be hailed best in the WORLD

THIS picturesque house in Dorset has been named the best venue in the world by a top travel guide for a bed and breakfast stay.
Bindon Bottom B&B beat competition from locations such as Florida, Prague and Bruges to scoop first place in the 2017 Travellers' Choice awards run by travel review website TripAdvisor.
It was joined in the top 10 by South Lodge Guest House in East Yorkshire, which ranked third, and Swallows Rest B&B in Northamptonshire, which came fifth.
Rooms at Bindon Bottom range from between £90 to £130 per night for two people.
The positions were based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews on the TripAdvisor website.
Clive and Lisa Orchard set up Bindon Bottom in 2010 after deciding to give up their jobs in retail and IT.
Their venture has joined remarkable success as Bindon Bottom scooped the same accolade in 2014.
The stunning Victorian house in West Luworth, surrounded by rolling fields and breathtaking scenery, is believed to have been designed by the author and poet Thomas Hardy.
The owners Lisa and Clive Orchard said: "We really do feel so grateful to be able to meet and accommodate guests from all over the world, who have come to Lulworth Cove to experience England's spectacular World Heritage listed Jurassic Coastline.
"Helping our guests to have the best possible experience of Dorset is of utmost importance to us, and so it's genuinely heart-warming to be recognised by them for what we do."

The guest house is just over a mile from Durdle Door, a hugely popular coastal location because of its unique limestone arch.
The five bedrooms in Bindon Bottom are all named after poets and writers, reported the .
A recent Trip Advisor reviewer of Bindon Bottom said: "This was my third visit to Bindon Bottom. "There’s something very special about this place.
"The B&B owners Lisa & Clive are both very very welcoming and friendly.
"The attention to detail is amazing – from the gorgeous scented oil that Lisa burns in the entrance hall, the homemade brownies, flapjacks and chocolate truffles in the bedroom, the extremely comfortable bed, the luxurious soaps, shampoos and body lotions in the bathroom to Clive’s delicious breakfasts."
Thornleigh Guest House in Keswick, Cumbria, and the West by Five Guest House in St Ives, Cornwall, finished 8th and 9th respectively.
VisitEngland chief executive Sally Balcombe said: "It is fantastic news that five of England's B&Bs are rated by travellers in the top 10 globally, including the top spot.
"This continues the upward trend we've seen in recent years demonstrating that our tourism accommodation and service is not only exceeding customer expectations but up there competing with the world's very best."
