The PM then went in for the kill, slaughtering the Labour leader over Donald Trump.

During a classy performance, Mrs May said she recognised there was an “appetite” for a policy document laying out her vision.

Her move neutered the Labour leader - sporting a shiny new khaki suit - who flailed in her wake.

He could only accuse the PM of threatening to turn the UK into a "bargain basement" economy – seven times.

He then moved on to her “bad judgment” claiming she was offering a “blank cheque” to Donald Trump.

But Mrs May hit back declaring she was “not afraid to speak frankly to the President of the United States” – a relationship he would never have.

To roars of laughter and shouts of “more” she said Mr Corbyn was unable to agree with his own Shadow Chancellor and the Shadow Home Secretary needs to phone the leader to tell him what the policy is.

Goading him further she told him to have a chat with the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan who had given credit to the Government over workers rights, adding “as usual the right hand is not talking to the far left.
