But the festival has now been forced to find a new venue for its 20th anniversary - blaming "management changes" at Bayford's company.

More than 60 bands had been slated to entertain around 2,000 revellers at Bayford's £6.5million pad, Horseheath Lodge.

In a Facebook statement, the Cambridge Rock Festival said: "Stop press! Venue change for 2024!

"The 20th anniversary of the Cambridge Rock Festival now has a new venue.

A spokesperson added: "For 2024, the festival will now take place at Harlocks Farm.

"The move to Ely came after management changes at Horseheath meant that the venue was no longer viable."

Last year the festival was cancelled at the last minute because Cambridge City Council had not granted a licence.

There were reports that Bayford’s neighbours were upset about him hosting the festival again - fearing it would bring “noise and chaos.”

The festival has been held in Cambridgeshire every summer since 2004.

Lotto winner Gillian Bayford’s husband almost blew her fortune, it was claimed last night

Bayford, 53, hosted it at Horseheath Lodge in the village of Linton in 2017 and 2018.

The former postman became one of England’s biggest ever Euromillions jackpot winners in 2012.

Bayford landed a whopping £148 million prize with his now ex-wife Gillian.

But the Suffolk-based couple split 15 months later after nine years of marriage.

Last month Bayford got engaged for the fourth time since his EuroMillions win - popping the question to an ambulance worker.

The lottery winner had reportedly been unlucky in love before meeting 48-year-old Tracey Biles.

Bayford and the Cambridge Rock Festival have been contacted for comment.
