THESE hand-crafted gypsy wagons have been transformed into the perfect holiday hideaway.
Craftsman Chris Jopling devoted four years to creating the stunning home that comes with a stand-alone bath, open fireplace and countryside views.
Two wagons - one housing the bedroom and one the bathroom - are connected by a tunnel to a rustic 17th century bothy with reclaimed materials featured throughout.
It was a labour of love for 53-year-old Chris, who built the 12-foot wagons from scratch in his spare time and then rebuilt the underground room which he and his wife Jan discovered on their land overlooking a bay near Bude on the north Cornish coast.
The bedroom features a super king-size bed and small dressing area.
The bathroom flaunts WC, basin and cast iron slipper tub looking over the rolling Cornish hills above Widemouth Bay.
Chris started the project following a conversation in his local pub one evening. He was inspired by a miniature showman’s wagon and made his replica TEN times bigger.
The closest town of Bude is just two miles away where you will find pasty shops and beaches.
It has parking for two cars. The kitchen includes a double gas cooker with grill, a microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and fridge with freezer drawer.
It is now available to book through Unique Home Stays with prices starting from £485 for a three-night stay.
